BOSTON — Tim Thomas was the first Bruins goaltender off the ice after the team’s morning skate at TD Garden, where he’ll probably get the start against Tampa Bay tonight.
Thomas has allowed just four goals total in two games against the Lightning this season. He sat out the last two Bruins games while Tuukka Rask beat Ottawa and Edmonton.
The rest of the players, minus the injured Andrew Ference, were out there and skated in the same forward lines and defense pairs that beat the Senators Tuesday night. Shane Hnidy, continuing to rehab his injured shoulder, was also on the ice as a spare defenseman.
