Pacioretty
Montreal forward Max Pacioretty spoke to TSN veteran writer Bob McKenzie today.
Recovering from a severe concussion and fractured verterbrae, the wings is obviously upset about a number things.
Here’s what he told McKenzie:
“I am upset and disgusted that the league didn’t think enough of (the hit) to suspend him,” Pacioretty told TSN. “I’m not mad for myself, I’m mad because if other players see a hit like that and think it’s okay, they won’t be suspended, then other players will get hurt like I got hurt.”
“It’s been an emotional day. I saw the video for the first time this morning. You see the hit, I’ve got a fractured vertebrae, I’m in the and I thought the league would do something, a little something. I’m not talking a big number, I don’t know, one game, two games, three games … whatever, but something to show that it’s not right.”
“I heard (Chara) said he didn’t mean to do it. I felt he did mean to do it. I would feel better if he said he made a mistake and that he was sorry for doing that, I could forgive that, but I guess he’s talking about how I jumped up or something.”
“I believe he was trying to guide my head into the turnbuckle. We all know where the turnbuckle is. It wasn’t a head shot like a lot of head shots we see but I do feel he targeted my head into the turnbuckle.”
Hopefully Chara will reach Pacioretty soon and they can iron out their differences. As for the league, well we all know how that goes. From Pacioretty to Marc Savard to any other number of guys, there’s rarely justice in the NHL.
Anything short of 20 games suspension is ridiculous Chara tried to hurt him for 3 games and acheived his goal. You guys should be ashamed to be a Bruins fan.

As for Ciminal Court yes its serious and its a Canada Criminal Court that main know lawyer is sure Zdeno wasnt premidite that hit but he can clearly prooved Zdeno had this intention,he knew where he was,he knew its was MP and that he didnt had the puck + 14sec left!Ull see i hope at least Zdeno admit he was looking for that kinf of thing whit MP for a month.
Tanner Glass said it was one of the more dirty hit he sawe and didnt know the story and circonstance between these2,Its not a hit he just clearly push him and like Max said/remember aim his head whit is arm glove.

Yeah the “hat” comment was a 2nd George. My final thought on all this…..whoever the player is that gets hurt I try and look at it objectively because even though I love the Bruins I love the game itself much more. IMO the league cannot use perceived intent, and clean history as the only reasons to suspend someone. Aren’t there some penalties tied to the end result of committing them? A high stick could be 2-min or 4-min, the deciding factor is the extent of the injury not the intention or record of the player who did it. The league should be able to say: Chara you committed a major penalty of interference in a dangerous area and the result of the action was the other player received a severe concussion and a broken neck…..here’s your fine and suspension. The NHL can’t discipline like they have, enforce an istigator rule and then blame the players for retaliation, cheap shots, and dirty play. This is only my opinion, sorry for ranting and any George that is name calling or swearing is not this George.
