Optional AM skate for Bruins, no Ference
BOSTON — The Bruins held an optional morning skate today at TD Garden in preparation for their game with Buffalo tonight.
Andrew Ference, who skated on his own this morning, did not join his teammates. Both goaltenders were on the ice, as were three defensemen and nine forwards. Steven Kampfer, who it was hoped might get on the ice soon, was also absent.
Several Bruins players convened in the hallway for a morning game of soccer.
More later.
Lousy on the PP. Lousy 4 on 4. Lousy in shoot0uts. The one ingredient needed to excel in these situations is skill. Hmm.
In soccer there is no power play, the Bruins could score in that kind of game.
We know we can defend. How about scoring some goals. Let me guess the morning soccer game ended nil nil.
