You vote: Bruin of the Week
When the Bruins endure an 0-2-1 week, it’s slim pickings for nominees for Bruin of the Week.
I scoured the stat sheets and was still able to come up with three nominees, starting with Milan Lucic. The bulky winger scored a goal, added an assist and posted a plus-1 rating in the Bruins’ three goals.
Lucic’s center David Krejci kept up his torrid scoring pace with four assists over the three-game week, plus a plus-1 rating.
After Zdeno Chara, Adam McQuaid has pretty much been the Bruins’ most reliable defenseman of late. “Darth Quaider” didn’t record a point and was minus-1 last week, but he was credited with 10 hits and 11 blocked shots, including seven blocks on Long Island Friday.
So I ask you my readers:
Who should be the Bruin of the Week?
- David Krejci (47%, 24 Votes)
- Adam McQuaid (31%, 16 Votes)
- Milan Lucic (22%, 11 Votes)

Paille NEVER looks good offensively though, I hope Julein was just trying a lineup preplayoffs so we don’t fail there this year and got our failing done now
I completely agree. While he wasn’t always visible during the road trip, you can see the dynamic he adds. Paille just hasn’t looked good offensively. For what he adds defensively, I think he as become especially redundant with guys such as kelly added. I would love to see Seguin as the 3rd line center with Ryder and Recchi, and a 4th line of Cambell, Kelly, and Thornton.
@Rich +1
I think Tyler Seguin proved he should be in the lineup this week, without ever hitting the ice.
