It's a Bruins party/By S. Bradley

BOSTON — Well now we know which team can really walk the walk after talking the talk in the Bruins-Montreal rivalry.

The last word came from the Bruins’ sticks on offense and their suffocating defense in destroying Montreal, 7-0, at TD Garden.

Safe to say, there’ll be less trash talk should these two teams meet again when the playoffs roll around in a few weeks.

Nathan Horton and Gregory Campbell led the way with two goals apiece and Tim Thomas recorded his eighth shutout by making 24 saves.

Here’s a look at the rest of the box score:

•David Krejci and Zdeno Chara matched their career-highs for points and assists with three assists apiece.

•Gregory Campbell answered the bell in the only fight of the night by taking on Paul Mara in a bout with just a few punches and then a big hug. It’s shocking that that’s how the Habs decided to avenge Max Pacioretty’s injury.

•Michael Cammalleri, one of the most outspoken Habs players this morning, was minus-4 on the night. So was center Tomas Plekanec.
