Both Bruins head coach Claude Julien and his Philadelphia counterpart Peter Laviolette have opted to go with their veteran netminders for tonight’s showdown in the City of Brotherly Love.

Tim Thomas, who beat New Jersey and Montreal last week and then took Saturday off against the New York Rangers, will start for Boston over Tuukka Rask. Philadelphia counters with Brian Boucher over Sergei Bobrovsky in net. Boucher lost his last two outings and hasn’t played since March 22.

Michael Ryder is the scratched forward, which means Daniel Paille returns to the lineup as the fourth-line left winger.
