Don’t concern yourself with Chara, says Bruins coach Julien
BOSTON — Bruins head coach Claude Julien did his best “Baghdad Bob” impersonation tonight after his team’s loss to Toronto at TD Garden.
When asked why captain Zdeno Chara missed some time in the second and third period of the game, Julien was adamant that nothing was wrong with his star defenseman.
“There’s nothing to report, nothing to be concerned about as far his situation,” said the coach.
When pressed on whether it was a health or equipment issue, Julien just said he was sticking to his previous statement.
At one point, Dr. Peter Asnis followed Chara down the tunnel to the dressing room. I doubt he was examining the captain’s skates. However, whatever was bothering Chara couldn’t have been too serious because there’s no way Julien would’ve put his star in harm’s way in a mostly meaningless game for his team.
Chara finished the night with 31 shifts and 25:26 of ice time.

Is it me or does the defense seem like it is missing something without Boychuk with Chara? Perhaps it’s because McQuaid and Kampfer had a bad game, but it just seems kinda sketchy
A couple of beers and Guinness stew before the game can do that to you.
He had the Barry “Trotts”.
Probably just had to crap, but Garden plumbing can’t handle a Chara sized turd, so he had to pinch it off a couple times.
I also hate crapping at work.
I heard he had a stomach thing… maybe he just had the poopsies
He missed some time because he is a puss.
