A playoff berth and a Northeast Division title were wrapped up by the Bruins, as they went 3-0-1 last week.
And there were plenty of solid individual performances along the way.
Seventh Player Award winner Brad Marchand recorded a point in all four games and finished with 2-3-5 totals and a plus-2 rating. His goal in Philadelphia was the game-winner.
Tim Thomas re-established himself as the hands-down Vezina Trophy favorite with two wins and a shutout. He stopped 87 of 91 shots (.956), including 32 of 32 against Chicago. He lost a shootout to Toronto, 1-0 (with one save).
On the back end, Zdeno Chara was a rock again. His goal, which was his lone point on the week, proved to be the game-winner against Chicago. He was plus-4 on the week with seven shots on net.
After scoring the game-tying goal against Philadelphia, Nathan Horton added one more score against the Blackhawks and finished the week with a plus-2 rating and six shots on net.
