The Bruins today made official what was reported by several outlets earlier this week: they have signed free agent Carter Camper out of Miami University.

Nifty, if that was caron or spooner on the same run since Feb you would be enshrining pc for the hall. Butlers -15, but since his Feb recall he’s played w spezza and is a plus 4 with 20 pts in 20 gms.
Seems like a pretty good prospect. Only 15 goals this year though. Not sure he will be as good as Butler.
Don’t think Claude would dig his -15. I like his offensive instincts but 36 games does not a career make.

So last season pc was asked about signing butler from Unh last yr as he was top goal scorer in college hockey, pc said we don’t have a need for a guy like him? Now he’s lighting up Ottawa playing 1st line and pp. How do we not even offer a guy like that in our own backyard?
Does this show pc learning his lesson from that?
