WILMINGTON, Mass. — After a day off from hockey and a date with some amateur barbers, the Bruins returned to practice today at Ristuccia Arena.
Ever play took the ice, including the 15 or so guy that were snipped at “Cuts for a Cause” yesterday.
Michael Ryder continued to skate on the third line with Rich Peverley, Chris Kelly and Tyler Seguin.
can they use the leftover hair to make a piece for the recchin ball?
Seguin should move up to the first line for a game and sit Krejci. CJ preaches that his players won’t just glide through a game then that means all players. Time to send a message (and get a little rest). Also gives Seguin a chance to be unleashed offensively.
You Right Jay. You Right Jay. You Right Jay.
Jay, I couldn’t have said it better myself!
Every time I hear the crowd do the U S A chant I become enraged!
Cheer on the team, don’t ignorantly shout U S A!
Go B’s!
Trust me when I say that ANYTHING is better than ole crap…Go B’s
Just in case we do play Montreal in the playoffs, I thought I would send out a little FYI to the Bruins fans who are chanting “U-S-A” during the “Bruins VS Canadian Teams” games.
The Bruins have, in our current roster…
17 Canadians
2 Czech Republicans
1 Finn
1 Slovakian
1 German
1 American
The Canadiens have, in their current roster…
12 Canadians
7 Americans
4 Czech Republicans
1 Dane
1 Belarussian
1 Russian
So really, when you chant those three letters, who will you really be cheering for. Think about what those 17 Canadian Bruins will be thinking when they hear that. I can tell you it will not help them.
A couple of weeks ago Brandon Prust got in a fight with one of Montreal’s American players (mau have been Wisnewski) and the fans at Maddison Square garden were cheering “U-S-A.” Brandon Prust was Canadian and the Montreal player was American. How stupid is that? How can you justify this as helping only one of the two teams. I wanna hear some “Let’s Go Bruins,” no matter where they are from. If we win the Cup, it will not be a victory for the United States of America, it will be a victory for the Boston Bruins, and if I hear the “U-S-A” chant when the cup is raised, I am going to flip. As far as I am concerned the “U-S-A” chant is not better than the “Ole Ole” chant. We don’t need to embarass our team like this.
Again, just an FYI.
