Agents: Habs’ Pacioretty ‘relieved’ by chat with Bruins’ Chara
After Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara confirmed yesterday he had recently spoken with Montreal’s Max Pacioretty and just left it at that, Elliotte Friedman of the CBC went the extra mile to follow up.
Friedman spoke with Pacioretty’s agent Alex Schall, who is also the agent for Boston defenseman Steven Kampfer, about the Chara-Pacioretty chat, which would’ve been the first contact between the two players since their collision March 8 in Montreal.
Here’s what Schall told Friedman for his 30 Thoughts column on CBC.ca:
“It was a private conversation, so I’m not privy to exactly what was said. But, when it was over, Max indicated he felt relieved. They may never go for lunch together, but the hard feelings between them are definitely over.”
Pacioretty should be “relieved” enough to make a plea for this ridiculous police investigation end. Just think how he’d feel if the roles were reversed. Nonetheless, I’m sure Pacioretty has a much different view of Chara now than he had before, as most people that get to know the Boston captain usually do.
We saw the real Chara in 3rd period tonight, losing his cool, same act when he played in Ottawa…most iver rated defenceman on the bss
I watched the game. I honestly dont think he was ever out. Watch it again, he tries to get up and then lies down. I have no hard feeling for Max, The Canadiens lied and got caught.
banzai, are you the only person with an ounce of intelligence? Thank you for posting this.
I have requested that Matt put this up at the top of the page or something because every second person here thinks a concussion grade has to do with how long it takes to recover and never bothered to look it up. If Max comes back, we should be happy right? We’re not secretly hoping his career’s finished right? You guys called me trash?
Concussions are really misunderstood. Max recieved what is referred to as a Grade 3 concussion or “severe concussion” based on the length of loss of consciousness immediately after the hit. Concussions aren’t graded by post concussion symptoms though post concussion symptoms do play a role in when a player can return to the ice.
That being said, I’ll be happy when the B’s can put it behind them and get back to worrying about bringing home the Cup!
relieved? i wouldn’t use that word since it took miracle max one month to accept z’s apology.
z’s probably relieved miracle max has stopped acting like a 12 year old girl to some extent.
turn the page, quebecois trash.
RD I see the trolls are out early, why don’t you join the rest of the circus and get back under the bigtop?
..and you are right…This DAM GOOD site reports it all…GO BRUINS…ALL OF EM’…….
Maybe Miracle Max should have a word with his employer whom released that he had a “severe concussion”! We now know he did not but Max won’t say anything as he knows who signs the checks.
Fractured vertebrae ? It’s a miracle!
“Pacioretty should be ‘relieved’ enough to make a plea for this ridiculous police investigation end”
How is this blaming Patch? If anything, it’s a reference to how Max already came out once and voiced his displeasure over the police investigation. Him voicing his opinion again could be a strong asset in an attempt to get both fan bases to turn the page on this thing, and I think that is what MattK is trying to say here. But if this site upsets you, why read it?
Max didn’t file the complaint with the police. Why is he being blamed for everything on this damn site?
