‘Dominant’ Bruins decide it’s time for more on-ice work
WILMINGTON, Mass. — The Montreal Canadiens announced after their Game 1 win that only their scratched players would skate today.
The Bruins, one day before Game 2 of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series with the Habs, decided it was best to hit the ice as a squad.
Head coach Claude Julien might’ve thought the team dominated a lot of areas in its 2-0 loss, but obviously he wanted to work out some of the kinks.
As per the players’ practice sweaters, there were no line changes. All eight defensemen and three goaltenders joined the 13 forwards.
Im not sure who the canadians are facing in this series.. All i know is it isnt Boston., the bruins battle in the corners connect on passes and play with grit. I love the bruins but i have to say if I was at theses past 2 games i would want my money back.
Ideally they would have lit up Price and had the whole province swooning for Halak. Instead they gave him all the confidence in the world. He’s making nice passes and having some fun. Now they are in a must win situation while giving up home ice. I know it’s only one game but I hear Cam was fuming. I’m not sure he was as philisophic as Digger.
The final score was 2-0. 1-0 midway through the 3rd. Some posters write like it was 7-0 Habs.
The B’s outshot Mtl 18-6 in the 2nd. I wouldn’t say the B’s “dominated” per say but they did build momentum and like I said it was still anybodys game midway through the third. If that was the B’s worst I’ll take it.
Dominating indeed – what’s worse…CJ saying the dominated or PC saying the goal is round 2…eh….
Quotation marks and I’m laughing out loud. Well played. That was a dominant turd period.
