BOSTON — Montreal forward Andrei Kostitsyn did not take the morning skate with his team, but teammate Jeff Halpern did at TD Garden.
After the skate, Canadiens head coach Jacques Martin classified both players as game-time decisions for tonight’s Game 2 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series between the Habs and Bruins.
Kostitsyn blocked a Zdeno Chara shot in Game 1 Thursday, but returned to action later in the contest. Halpern hasn’t played since March 30 due to a lower-body injury. The Habs did not practice Friday.

his foot is probably too swollen to get the boot on…
Andrei took a full blast from Chara to the foot in that game. He managed to come back and have a decent game but that’s while the adrenaline is pumping. I can’t imagine what a Chara slapshot to the leg at 100 miles per hour feels like the next day…
If AK46 isn’t playing does that mean he’ll be on here all night? RRR.
