If Bruins coach Julien’s pondering lineup changes, he’s not letting on
BOSTON — His team now down 0-2 in its Eastern Conference quarterfinal series with Montreal, Bruins head coach Claude Julien was asked if he’s considering any lineup changes for Monday night’s Game 3 at the Bell Centre.
Proving that he watched more than just film of his team’s disastrous loss after he went home Saturday night, here’s how Julien responded:
“I guess I’ll take a page out of Peter Laviolette’s book from last night,” said Julien referring to the Philadelphia coach’s postgame comments after the Flyers’ Game 2 win over Buffalo. “We don’t discuss lineups, we don’t discuss our goaltenders and we don’t discuss our injuries.
“I like that and I’ll give him credit for that one.”
Julien can also give Laviolette credit for coaching his team to a win against the Sabres, a berth in the Stanley Cup Final last season and a Stanley Cup victory with Carolina in 2006. Now that he’s emulating Laviolette’s information policy, he can attempt to reproduce his coaching record.
When Julien was asked who would be traveling, he said “our roster, as you’ve seen.” So if he’s to believed, none of the “Black Aces” will be making trip. That would rule out an appearance by Jordan Caron in the upcoming games.

That away Claude keep working on that defenisve game plan it’s just fantastic exciting playoff hockey with tremndous results!

Laviolette’s body language a must for Julien.
Scratch Kelly please. Too bad Caron is not traveling, would love to see the 3rd line as Caron-Peverley-Seguin
