MONTREAL — It doesn’t look like those demanding lineup changes for the Bruins are going to get their wish.
Tim Thomas will start in net.
As far as the rest of the lineup, as per warm-ups the only change is a slight shift in the D pairs. Here’s how Boston should line for Game 3 of its Eastern Conference quarterfinal series with Montreal at the Bell Centre.
Lucic-Krejci-Horton
Marchand-Bergeron-Recchi
Kelly-Peverley-Ryder
Paille-Campbell-Thornton
Chara-Seidenberg
Kaberle-McQuaid
Ference-Boychuk

matt i understand your wording in the article, but the article is a bit misleading. I think Julien struggles with his motivational instincts and his insistence on staying with his predictable system, yet he has little choose from in terms of nightly scratches
I’m glad Peverley was not scratched last night.
@Jared…Peverley should be a scratch? Please explain.
Spencer-
Never said I wanted the changes. I said “those that wanted changes.”
There’s a difference.

You guys are ridiculous. Matt, I respect your opinions and generally agree especially about Claude, but cmon… you say seguin isnt ready and obviously hnidy isnt the answer… what changes do you want
The only suggestion anyone should be giving in regard to Rich Peverley is, “healthy scratch”.
Niceeee Claude… It has been working out right? Let´s keep like this! He´ll be gone prety soon…
I truly cannot wait for the day when Claude gets fired. When teams win the Stanley Cup they parade, when the Bruins fire him their should be a parade in honor of him being canned.
Peter Laviolette made changes when the Hurricanes were down in game 3, CJ on the other hand just keeps the same lineup that hasn’t been working, Kelly and Recchi have been awful. Seguin should get some playoff time since his speed, puck moving, and creating scoring opportunitys on the PP which at the moment is a pitiful 0-7.
They should’ve fired Julien after game two. Dead man walking.
actually, this is almost exactly what I have been asking for. if you switch Kaberle and Seidenberg in that arrangement above, it is exactly what I wanted and bitched for. finally, those two are being separated! they do not belong together and it took them too long to figure that obvious one out, but I’ll take it, finally. drop it!
Ha! Claude obviously took my advice of putting Peverly @ center. Although to for full disclosure he ignored the other 98% of my advice.
