If the Bruins do something they have yet to do under the Peter Chiarelli/Claude Julien regime — win a Game 7 — they’ll get a chance to do something else they haven’t done under the current brass.
The Philadelphia Flyers await the Bruins in the second round if Boston can beat Montreal and snap a three-game losing streak in Game 7s Wednesday night. Then the Bruins can go for their first playoff series win over the Flyers under Chiarelli/Julien, who oversaw the seven-game loss of last spring.
Philadelphia took care of Buffalo in its own Game 7 tonight, 5-2. The Flyers would have home-ice advantage.
A Montreal win would set up a match-up between the Habs and Washington Capitals.

wishful thinking, but claude only wins game 7s AGAINST the bruins.
Philly has Pronger back-he will protect his poor goal tender.
Goaltending is definitely Philly’s biggest weakness, but they have some real firepower in all four lines. But i actually think the Bruin’s would have a better chance against Philly than the Habs. I am not even sure the Bruin’s will put the Habs away tonight.
I think the new and defensively improved Caps take the Habs this year if the Habs beat the B’s. I actually think it will likely end quickly-5 games 6 at most-but I don’t see a game 7.
I’m positive the P.P would get one against the Philly Three. Right? C’mon there no Prices. It could happen.
Nice WAS-MTL round2
