BOSTON — Obviously the Montreal Canadiens were pretty banged up by the end of the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series with the Bruins and were even missing players in the last couple games.
The Bruins, however, came out of the seven-game series relatively healthy, according to general manager Peter Chiarelli. Obviously, injury information is top secret in the playoffs, but as far as injuries that would keep a player from performing, it seems the Bruins are in the clear.

Peter,Peter,Peter…the other hab trolls are gone.Why don’t you join them?Go talk about the past glory days and shine up the golf clubs eh?Take an extra diving lesson at the pool…any Philly fans here yet?
GO BRUINS GO!!!…ALL OF EM.
mike milbury would know a thing or two about not winning. hab fans, hard to win a series when YOU LOSE 3 OVERTIME GAMES. i haven’t heard the lady gaga excuse yet for forcing your softies to play back to back nights
looch has got to be hurt. wonder if the high ankle injury from last year is bugging him?
@TCl…the diving habs?
How many cups did the diving Habs win? Yes you know the answer…I hope you love baseball cause you’ll start watching a lot of it once the Flyers will beat you easy.
The habs had Gorges, Markov and Pacioretty missing, still it took 7 games for you guys to beat the Habs…Even Milbury said The Bruins didn’t deserve to win…
I agree that Chara doesn’t look 100% and I wouldn’t be at all surprised to find out that Lucic and maybe some other players haven’t been sick as well.
Chara seems to be coming back and I wonder a bit with Lucic if he just was afraid to hit the diving Habs. The Flyers series is more his style of play and I hope to see more active and physical Lucic with the Flyers series.
Looks sluggish for sure. Z doesn’t even look like he’s fully recovered. Hopefully these few days help.
Auzure: Definitely. He’s just standing around an awful lot. Like you said, he’s never been the best skater, but I’ve never seen *anybody* just stand around like he has.
I thought he looked out of sorts. I was thinking he had the same virus Chara had just not as bad. He seemed able to hit alright but his timing was off and seemed a little slow releasing the puck. Hopefully we’ll see the old Lucic in the next round.
Did Lucic not look right to anyone else? He has never been the best skater, but it has been taking him forever to get moving, especially when he is playing D in the nutral zone.
