Can’t expect Bruins to compete without Krejci creating offense
Last spring, Lucic bounced back from a two-assist first round to score five times (and add two more assists) against the Flyers. The Bruins are hoping he can duplicate that. But a Lucic resurgence, and a Bruins series victory, will not be possible without Krejci — who all season has talked about performing as a No. 1 center and mostly backed it up — playing the type of hockey that can turn the Bruins’ first line into a Mack truck hauling ass down the interstate.

i don’t think richards had to bother targeting krejci this year.
Whenever I saw Krecji in a shooting position last round, I thought, “Aw Crap! Another wasted rush!” but at least he was getting there, taking shots. He should be making plays, that’s where he’s valuable. Too bad Lucic is STILL too busy chasing butterflies in his imaginary field to actually play hockey. Horton to some degree needs to find the open lanes better than he has to be more dangerous, but at least he’s done SOMETHING (three pretty big things by my count). Lucic needs to show up.
And Krejci needs to put the puck in the net when he has a gaping chasm in which to throw the puck!!! You were nice by counting only two Matt, it was more like ten.
But still ten golden scoring chances is ten more than Milan had.
just a thought, I think the Canadien skating game was touigh on the first line, and I thought Hal Gill was especially effective against the B’s offense.
