TAMPA — For the second straight game in the Eastern Conference Final, Bruins winger Milan Lucic did not take the morning skate.

However, head coach Claude Julien reiterated today at the St. Pete Times Forum what he said after the skate before Game 2 Tuesday in Boston.

“No issues. He’s going to be in tonight,” said Julien about Lucic, who was unavailable to address the matter. “During playoffs, there’s certain things you do to give guys time off for whatever reasons. He’s going to be in and there won’t be any excuses to his game at all. … There’s very minor issues when it comes to that.”

Lucic took a shot off the foot in practice last Monday. He has been seen limping when off the ice. But he played in Game 2 and finished with five shots on net in 20:49 of ice time.

Tonight the Bruins and Tampa Bay will play Game 3 with the series tied 1-1.
