TAMPA — No offense to Shawn Thornton, but the Bruins with a healthy Patrice Bergeron and a confident Tyler Seguin, the Bruins now are a threat to score every shift.
The new high-octane lineup featuring Rich Peverley on the fourth line with Gregory Campbell and Daniel Paille will battle Tampa Bay for a second straight game at the St. Pete Times Forum today at the St. Pete Times Forum.
“Rich Peverley is not Shawn Thornton and vice versa. Shawn is more of real forechecker and physical player and Peverley, his skill level is obviously a little better,” said head coach Claude Julien before the game. “So it does [make the coaches use the fourth line different]. With Paille with speed on one side and Peverley with the skill, and what we know that Campbell can do, it certainly, to us, it makes us a pretty decent line as well.”
Here are the lines and D-pairs the Bruins skated this afternoon during the warm-up:
Lucic-Krejci-Horton
Marchand-Bergeron-Recchi
Ryder-Kelly-Seguin
Paille-Campbell-Thornton
