You’ve come this far Bruins fans, so do you still believe? There are those of you who will never give up on your team and those of you who jump off the bandwagon at the slightest sign of failure.

I vote Boston. Tim Thomas had his bad game, now he’s going to be completely insanely good.
He already showed good game 7 poise against Montreal this year so I think the bruins have a good chance.
One key will be for some of the dimmer bulbs to keep their rage in check and not get penalties.

Still, I REALLY do not want to hear pierre mcGuire wax eloquent all game long on the 1-3-1 if the Bs do start losing. But like I told myself in game 7 v. the Habs, at least I will not have to listen to Ole Ole Ole, no matter what happens.
being both a bruins and blackhawks diehard, i learned a little something after last year’s blackhawks cup win. as amazing as a cup win feels for a fan (and 50 years of waiting for some), the season still ends, the teams disappear for the summer, a largely different team may emerge the following season and that stellar moment fades away. anymore, i don’t worry about how far my favorite teams make it. i just go along for the ride. win or lose tonight, this year has been a great ride with the bruins.
It only took twenty years to get here. If they lose I may not make it to the next time. None of these teams were here last year so don’t think this B’s dynasty has another crack next year. No this is their best chance in forever.

Julien won’t be fired if they lose
It will come down to which team loses its focus. Neither team has dominated, but only excelled in certain aspects of the game. Will TT or Rollie be On or Off tonight? Whatever. It should be a good one!
I think the PP is going to haunt the Bruins. If the Bs lose because of the power play, Julien and the staff will go bye-bye.
Why does NESN keep referring to Geoff Ward as the PP specialist. The guy stinks and cant draw up plays to save his own life
Funny, it seems like the 2nd period has been the deciding period in almost every game this series. Games 2,4,5,6 all were won or lost in the 2nd. Even game 3 was won because the Bs held on to a 1-0 lead through the 2nd.
I’m hoping the crowd will come up big as well, and really get fired up for the Bs the whole game. To me, win or lose, this team will have deserved it.
It depends on whether they take a period off or don’t. They didn’t play the second period in game 4, the first period in game 5 or the second period in game 6. A 60 min effort will win the game.
That and some magic from TT. Anything short of a GREAT game from TT and they will lose
ditto what george said. its all about momentum and heart. let TB face some real hockey fans.
Will be rooting for the B’s, but picked the Bolts. Worried that game # 7 will come down to speed, special teams, and coaching. And they have an enormous advantage in each of those areas.
I’ll guarantee that one of these teams is going to win two game sevens.
I’m predicting the Bruins will finally end their four season streak (2004,2008,2009,2010) of Game 7 playoff exits.
I voted for the W because the opposite is going to ruin my Summer.
I hope the refs put their whistles away…

Bruins in OT. People considered at risk of heart disease should abstain from watching. BG: I’m also very high on Caron. No doubt to me he’ll be in the NHL all season next year. But you’re out of context by comparing him to Skrudland, Richer or Claude Lemieux. Those 3 were not benched for the first 17 playoffs games! Don’t you think ANY other game would be better for his playoffs career start than a 7th game that deep in the playoffs?
I wasn’t sure who to vote for. I think it depends on which Boston team shows up to play. I think if the Boston team of game 3 shows up then it will be Boston.
I think it helps to have home ice advantage if Julien uses it wisely.
The Bruins without the silly coaching. Put Séguin in front of everything you said and you have the obvious answer. He has done 4 times as much for the team then Recchi did, and he is happy doing it, whereas Recchi keeps our good players off ice or he shows his grumpy face when he doesn’t get the nod.
What has Wrecky done for the Bruins lately? Nothing more than you and I did.
Is’nt Stanley Cup winning history filled with kids shinning out of the unknown? Hasn’t Séguin proved your beloved coach wrong more time than not. America is asking you the obvious. Don’t ask me who it is I am cheering for. Caron roars, Recchi crawls and grimaces.
Remember Brian Skrudland (Vet.) in between Richer and Claude Lemieux (Rookies). He could sure dive but he scored OT goals in 86 and went on to winning 2 more SC & 1 Conn Smythe. But the point I want to make is that youth drives you when old legs are long gone. I am no genius, I state the obvious.
P.S. The AHL is a pro league. What Caron has showed last fall is compelling enough for me.
The reasons I voted Boston are:
Playing at home
The 1st line (especially Lucic) effort in game 6
Roloson did not look any sharper in game 6
PK has been consistently better than game 6
I love the Bruins
BG – you’re complaining about coaching and then suggesting the coach play a player – a 20-year old rookie – and a 20-year old rookie that hasn’t played a pro game in over 3 months, and those 3 games in February came after another 2 month haitus no less? 3 Pro games in 5 months and you want to start this kid in the most important Bruins game in over 20 years…..

I think player’s talent, coaching know how and coaches/player’s poise will prevail.
Not those who keep on playing the wrong guys just in case it might finally work.. And if it works let’s pretend it did because we played the right guys…And let’s not change anything if it doesn’t work bcuz if we play the right guys, some players may find a good ear to listen to their complaints and we all know CJ would really like to stay in B-town. Nice city for sure.
I think there’s yet unexplored dimensions within the Bruins and that is Séguin and Caron. Caron is better than Recchi. He could help more now than Recchi has been for the last 2 months. Ask Bergy whether he’d like to work with Caron in place of Recchi. And if he isn’t bold enough to speak the truth ask Marchand.
Wow, CJ can you imagine Caron, Bergy and Marchand on the same line???? CJ, you’ve been sleepwalking across the balcony enough already about this. Recchi will not terminate you unless you give him the chance. Have the guy sit out next game PLEASE PLEASE SVP S’il te plaît merci té bin fin.

I voted Bruins, assuming two things:
1) Horton somehow is able to play
2) They tighten back up the PK to the 75% range or better
I think they will be POd about the way the last one ended (with the paddles and whatnot) and come out hard. I think TT will be up again, after a down game. In short, if I had to bet money I would honestly bet it on the Bs, and that is somewhat comforting to me, because I certainly haven’t always felt that way.
