VANCOUVER — Former Montreal Canadiens center Maxim Lapierre, now with the Canucks, has already expressed his hate for the Bruins both as a former Hab and a native of Quebec.
So how about fellow former Canadiens forward Chris Higgins? He also spent several years as part of the best rivalry in hockey and will now try to beat the Bruins in the 2011 Stanley Cup Final starting tomorrow at the Rogers Arena.
“You definitely develop some sort of animosity more than other teams just because of the rivalry that’s been going on for such a long time,” said Higgins. “I don’t know if that’s carried over to now. But I think any team that I play right now I wouldn’t be too happy with.”

Well BBG, this time you don’t know what you’re talking about. Higgins and Lappierre have completely different styles and I don’t think Higgins has much of a history for the type of things you’re complaining about.
He had 3 seasons with 20+ goals and his production has disappeared when he should be entering his prime.
Gotta dig a bit deeper than “he used to be a Hab” there slick,..
@RD not many teams want the service of guys like Higs and Lappy cause they bring the “HAB’ style with them, you know the dive team,no honor. He and Lappy still talk about the Hab/Bruins rivalry…that was 2 teams ago for both…
GO BRUINS GO!!! ALL OF EM.
What happened to this guy? His career completely nose-dived.
meh.
