VANCOUVER — The Bruins hit the Rogers Arena ice this afternoon for one last practice before they compete for the Stanley Cup tomorrow night in Game 1.
Veteran defenseman Shane Hnidy was the only missing player. He has an undisclosed injury which he needs to rest in order to be available should the Bruins require his services.
Rich Peverley skated on the Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Mark Recchi line for a second straight day both to build his chemistry with Marchand and Bergeron for when he fills in for Recchi, and to allow Shawn Thornton to get plenty of practice reps in case he’s needed in a game.
Lots more coverage of the Bruins in British Columbia coming up.
