BOSTON — Sometimes Bruins head coach Claude Julien likes to tease the English-speaking media by giving his French followers a little extra opinion or info here or there.
Today the post-English portion of his morning press conference included this little tidbit when the conversation turned toward Vancouver forward Maxim Lapierre, as it had earlier in English.
“It’s one of the reasons he played for three teams this year,” Julien said.
Lapierre briefly played under Julien in Montreal but was mostly with the Hamilton (AHL) farm club during Julien’s coaching tenure there. Needless to say the center never endeared himself to the coach.
