Peverley to take first shot at replacing Bruins’ Horton
BOSTON — At least for the Bruins’ warm-up before tonight’s Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final, Rich Peverley was Nathan Horton’s replacement.
Expect the veteran winger to share first-line right-wing duties with others while Horton is out with a severe concussion. But it looks like Peverley will get first crack at the job.
Here are the forward lines and D pairs as per the warm-up:
Lucic-Krejci-Peverley
Marchand-Bergeron-Recchi
Ryder-Kelly-Seguin
Paille-Campbell-Thornton
Chara-Seidenberg
Kaberle-McQuaid
Ference-Boychuk

Ya tonight seems to have settled it. Pevs had a big night and Rydes looks great with Kelly and Seguin!
I’d say he’s doing just fine.
Peverley is playing well so far tonight, but I’m not sure he can sustain what Horton brought to that line.
