BOSTON — Rookie Tyler Seguin had a novel idea for the Bruins to snap the home-team stranglehold on the 2011 Stanley Cup Final tonight in Game 5 at Rogers Arena.

“I think you have to maybe pretend like we’re playing at home, maybe go out tonight and maybe block everything out and just play our game, carry on like we’ve done the last two games, stay consistent with that,” said the winger about 90 minutes before the puck drop. “And I think if we do that for the full 60 tonight, hopefully it works out for us.”

The home team has won the previous four games in this series.

Seguin, who re-entered Boston’s lineup in place of Nathan Horton for Game 4, which Boston won to tie the series up at two games apiece, again skated on the third line in the warm-up.
