VANCOUVER — As expected, veteran Jeff Tambellini will replace the injured Mason Raymond in the Canucks’ lineup for Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final tonight at Rogers Arena against the BRuins.
Raymond suffered a vertebrae compression in the first period of Game 6. Tambellini skated the warm-up in Raymond’s spot on the second line alongside Ryan Kesler and Christopher Higgins.
“It’s a great opportunity,” said Tambellini this morning. “It’s nice to be here in the lineup when the moment’s really becoming the moment. It’s a wonderful opportunity that we have here.”
