Jan 7th. A chance at a little redemption.. I have a little feeling this game will get a little ugly. Marchand Thornton may have a few takers that night.
It’s too bad the NHL didn’t schedule the games in a better time slot or earlier in the year.
Enjoy the cup Boston, you guys deserve it.
Also, Voracek looks to be the next Zherdev. Simmonds should be like Lucic lite, and Schenn needs more time to develop before becoming a stud (which is what projections suggest)
Flyers made themselves less competitive this year and next. They just subtracted almost our top two lines worth of points to sign one of the better goalies in the league. That will certainly help, but I doubt they will be the same team or even close, and so much for Bobrovsky being the goalie of the future.
Just looking at numbers, if Savard retires or stays on LTIR the Bruins have around 16mil cap space for 6 spots.
Oct 15 @Chicago.
Let the fireworks begin…we’ll see which of the Blackhawk pansies yapped @Thornton.
Hard to know the quality in return. All of the players seem better than “so-so”
Carter and Richards gone from the flyers, and they get the #8 and a 2nd and 3rd pick….for Bryzgalov’s 9 year contract, and some unproven(B. Schenn and s0-so Voracek….a pretty wild deal.
Flyers really surprised me with those moves. Maybe they have more up their sleeve.
That Flyers team on opening night is now going to be weird looking
Hmm, an early back-to-back with Montreal, and then done with them by Feb 15. That game will also start off quite a little road trip.
