The Bruins continued to stock up on intelligent prospects in the fifth round.

After taking the Cornell-bound Brian Ferlin in the fourth round, Boston used the 151st overall pick on Yale-bound Rob O’Gara.

O’Gara, who stands 6-foot-2, 185 pounds, is the second defenseman selected by the Bruins in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft in St. Paul, Minn.

He’s a New York native who last season helped Milton Academy to its first ever prep title. O’Gara is scheduled to land at Yale for the 2012-13 season.
