Weisbrod leaves Bruins for Flames
When you win the Stanley Cup, everybody wants a piece of your action.
And it’s not just your players that are coveted by other teams.
Today the Calgary Flames hired away Bruins Director of Pro and Collegiate Scouting John Weisbrod as their new assistant general manager under Jay Feaster.
Weisbrod joined the Bruins in September 2006. He previously had returned to hockey from the NBA as a scout for the Dallas Stars. In his role with the Bruins, Weisbrod was instrumental in identifying the likes of Steven Kampfer and Matt Bartkowski before the Bruins traded for them.

I will gladly give Geoff Ward away though, but I think all the other teams know he was in charge of the Bruins PP.
this feels like a big loss
no geoff ward takers?
