Hey JPT, how does Chara’s @ss taste??
JPT- It’s ok when people on your team make dirty hits, but anyone else, not really.

we are all entitled to our opinions, but certain regions of the world foster the strangest opinions in people.
I understand why you give him the minus, MattK, but he just makes everyone who he is paired with so much better… That said, considering how HE can play he could have been better.
JPT – Hmmmm.. are you to Pot or the Kettle?

I enjoy your posts as well KoyoteKen. I am glad mine made you laugh but it was written in all seriousness. Chara has no conscience, he is a heartless human being and is a malicious disgusting person.

Chara is the devil. His legacy in the NHL will be as an evil, dirty player.
Oh I think Chara got slighted bit time for the Norris. I am not keen on awarding the Norris to a PP specialist who is a minus, but I get that this year it was a career vote and not really about who the best defenseman was.
I acrtually would have been okay with a Weber vote (who I think is also a very good defenseman) but Lidstrom IMO didn’t really earn it this year.

Here’s a link to a long interview with Malkin where he talks about why it’s so hard to play against Chara and calls Thomas the best goalie in the NHL.
Still pissed about the Norris vote. Should be a law against awarding a minus player!
Z, please stay in top shape.. and healthy until Hamilton gets a couple years in the Bigs. OMG, can you see what I see?
z hadn’t won a game 7 until this year. what a way to change that.
I think Chara often makes it look easy, which is why I think he sometimes doesn’t get credit from the fans. I think the fact that the players view him as the toughest defenseman to play against says a lot.
I think all that needs to be said about Chara and his pairing with Seids is that they managed to shut down pretty much every team’s top scorers through the playoffs. I think Tampa was the team that gave them the most trouble, but that team probably has some of the most dynamic scorers in the league (although I am sure Canucks fans have 100 reasons why they aren’t).

I like that photo because he’s in action. Most of the shots I have are guys just standing around. If he’s a pirate, then I guess he drinks his rum from the Cup.

And Matt… do you keep using that pic because it makes him look so goofy? I’m sure it’s just me, but every time I see it I imagine Z going “Arrrrggh, I’m a pirate!”
