@Jmitch…then consider what I said an amen brother. I hadn’t actually read your post before I posted.
that is basically what I just said…just in far fewer words
Correct me if I am wrong but didn’t he do what was ordered of him after the conviction? Anger management classes etc. And since then I seem to remember reading about how he has owned up to that whole thing and has been a model citizen ever since. That’s how the system works right? You do the crime you rehabilitate and society gives you another chance? I watched him play during his time in Ottawa and really liked him.
Bill I was worried about that too, but from everything that I have read it seems that he has really turned his life around. I believe that people can turn things around and I am hoping that it what he has done.
I vote nay. Isn’t Corvo the guy who beat up a girl in Boston before?
Yay because if the option was Corvo or Kaberle, I would rather have the one known for shooting the puck because it fits the Bruins better. The defensive play is a wash, and the cap hit leaves room if another move presents itself.
I voted yay for this one. From what I have read about him he seems like he might be a better fit than kaberle at a much lower cap hit.
Basically he might be a Kaberle light in production, or he might produce about the same, but either way he is a steal because he comes at half the cost and there is no obligation to him beyond the end of next season. I also think it will give Kampfer a little more time to season and will provide some competition and some decent depth at defense.
Just really happy that the Bruins core didnt change that much this summer…Corvo for Kaberle is even better…Pouliot will explose under Julien belt so, Ryder wont be missed…So, Bruins will be a serious Stanley Cup Contender for a second year in the row !!! Great Job Chiarelli !!!
