Bruins fan can eat Vancouver’s lunch at Haley House Bakery Cafe
Here’s another way to celebrate the Bruins’ Stanley Cup championship and fill your stomach.
And best of all, you get to do it at the expense of Vancouver.
After Governor Deval Patrick won his bet with his British Columbia counterpart, his office received a lot of smoked salmon as reward for the Bruins’ victory. His office dropped it off at the Haley House Bakery Cafe on 12 Dade Street in Dudley Square in Roxbury. Friday, July 22, Haley House will be serving smoke salmon sandwiches, which are sure to taste better than Patrice Bergeron’s finger.
The meal starts at 11 a.m. and ends when they run out of salmon. Plus, if you wear your Bruins gear, you get a free chocolate chip cookie. So head down to Haley House and eat up some more of the glory that that Cup has brought (plus what I suspect is some awesome smoked salmon. I might’ve sampled some on one of my three trips out West.)
Looks like people are sick of trying to figure out what the Mayor is saying over the phone and are going straight to the Governor.
We sent our best chum after mating… Enjoy
They should serve them up as ” salmon fingers” with Bruins beer batter instead!
Officially Deval Patrick’s greatest achievement in office.
