Get your calendars out.
The Bruins today announced that their first official on-ice practice will be Saturday, Sept. 17 and also revealed the dates and times for the preseason games.
You can expect to see Zdeno Chara on the ice well in advance of those official workouts, but everything will get formalized after the 17th. Camp opens on Sept. 16 with physical exams and fitness testing.
Also, the team’s annual golf tournament will be Sept. 12 back at The International in Bolton, Mass.

You might want to spend a couple of days at base camp before you make the push to your 200$ seats.
Ditto to what ED said…. I’ve been a season ticket holder all 20 years and I think loyal Pbruins fans deserve our day with the cup.
Thanks for the replies… see you on the 20th!
Thanks David. I have to admit I figured they would be going for even more than that. But thanks the the weak US dollar my Canadian “funny money” makes the price ever so slightly less.
PatrickD,
They raise the banner at the first home game of the season against the Flyers. Just check the secondary market for the cheapest ticket @$200+ and you know you found the right game.
Hey Matt or other readers….when do they raise the banner? At the first home game? I’d love to make the trip for that game but I can’t seem to find any mention of it anywhere. Thanks.
Have they announced when single game tickets go on-sale? I’ll be in Boston for the first three games of the regular season and would like to buy a ticket if I can.
back to 8 games against the habs this year. all is right in the world.
As a Providence Bruins season ticket holder, “Stanley” better be at the Dunk in all his splendor on the 2oth or I am calling 911….anyone know the number??? Maybe I should call a Canadiens fan…..can’t see how they would deny us.
Black and Gold game is Sept. 20. Don’t know any other details. I’m sure most of the stars would play in it.

What do you know about the bruins Black & Gold game at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence? Will the whole team be there? Will they bring the cup? Thanks.
