Today was probably a sad summer’s day for Bruins NESN play-by-play man Jack Edwards.

The broadcaster who loves calling Bruins games as much as the rest of us love breathing learned along with the world that there will be 10 Bruins game exclusively on Versus and three more on NBC.

NBC also has the right to flex as many four more games for its schedule.

In total, the Bruins will be on Versus, which will become the NBC Sports Network when the calendar turns to 2012, with four games listed as “non-exclusive” — so we’ll get to hear plenty of “Jackisms” those nights on NESN.
