BOSTON — The second practice scrimmage of the day at TD Garden brought a little bit of a scare at Bruins camp this afternoon.
Captain Zdeno Chara left the scrimmage portion of his group’s practice early.
Chara took a shot off his left leg and after practice head coach Claude Julien said that the injury wasn’t serious.
“Right now it’s a contusion and we’ll evaluate it as we go along here,” said Julien. “This is training camp and if he needs an extra day here we’ll give him an extra day. If not, he’ll be back on the ice tomorrow.”
