The Bruins confirmed the release of Chris Clark from his professional tryout agreement. Along with the placing of Steven Kampfer on injured reserve, the Bruins are down to 22 players.
Here is your opening night roster:
Forwards: Patrice Bergeron, Gregory Campbell, Jordan Caron, Nathan Horton, Chris Kelly, David Krejci, Milan Lucic, Brad Marchand, Daniel Paille, Rich Peverley, Benoit Pouliot, Tyler Seguin, Shawn Thornton
Defensemen: Matt Bartkowski, Johnny Boychuk, Zdeno Chara, Joe Corvo, Andrew Ference, Adam McQuaid, Dennis Seidenberg
Goaltenders: Tuukka Rask, Tim Thomas
Next up: the banner raising.

Agree about Kelly Bojangles. Maybe he could play wing with Seguin at center.
It will be interesting how Claude figures out the Pouliot, Caron, Kelly, Seguin and perhaps even Peverley spots play out over the next month or so.
Unless Pouliot has another level, I’d prefer Caron on line two with Peverley playing the wing opposite Seguin. If Pouliot finds another level of offense, Peverley stays with Bergy.
Kelly’s a nice center, but he doesn’t offer much on O, and last year proved to me that Seguin needs someone who can keep up with his pace to be best effective.
Drop the puck!
I only saw two games, but Clark did give a good account of himself. I am glad to see Caron make the squad, from most accounts he had a good camp. It will be interesting to see what happens to Pouliot. My guess McDermid or Sauve could be in Boston, shortly.
