Chris Clark suffered a broken nose while pursuing a spot on the Bruins’ opening-night roster.
Now it seems that wasn’t enough.
According to Boston.com, Clark, who was in training camp on a tryout basis, will not sign with the club. The Bruins’ roster must be set by 3 p.m. EST today.
Clark practiced on the fourth line the last couple days. If Clark isn’t retained, that should mean a roster spot for second-year forward Jordan Caron.
The Bruins host Philadelphia in the season-opener tomorrow night at TD Garden.
