Krejci/By S. Bradley
WILMINGTON, Mass. — A hard-fought Bruins practice that included some high-tempo 2-on-2 drills at Ristuccia Arena might’ve cost the Bruins the services of their No. 1 center.
David Krejci left the ice a little early after one drill. He seemed to be favoring his left side. After practice, head coach Claude Julien said he had no more information on Krejci and would only classify the injury as a “body” injury.
Julien said there was a chance Krejci would not travel with the team when the Bruins leave this afternoon for a two-game road trip that starts in Raleigh. Bruins president Cam Neely said this afternoon during his weekly radio appearance on 98.5 The Sports Hub that Krejci did not make the trip to Raleigh so he could be re-examined by doctors in Boston.

Hamil has had his chance. He will be thrown in on a deal somewhere down the line. Sauve probably deserves a call-up, but Hamill won’t. Frank’s right, Arniel would get a chance way before Hamill.
Stop it with Hamill: he’s not in the picture anymore. Arniel & Sauve would be the top 2 possibilities. But as of now, it’s Caron who’ll get his shot & Seguin who will center a top NHL offensive unit for the 1st time of his career. Don’t be surprised if he makes it hard for Julien to take him out of there when Krejci returns. But from the start, let’s just hope it won’t be long term for Krejci.
OUCH!
Bo,
You may be right about TS getting his “shot” at playing center.
Zach Hamill/Maxime Sauve might be called up from the P-B’s to fill in, if Krejci will be out for any length of time.
PCL – Who knows.. this might help. Putting Seguin b/w those two just might wake them up. It’s either going to be TS or Peverley – I think the kid get’s his shot.
Sucks. That line’s done nothing so far and looked pretty out of sync. This won’t help.
