Krejci/By S. Bradley
Bruins center David Krejci is day-to-day with a core injury he suffered during practice Tuesday, head coach Claude Julien confirmed today after a morning skate in Raleigh.
Krejci did not travel with the team. Julien said the Bruins will wait and see how Krejci recovers before determining whether he’ll join the team in Chicago in time for Saturday night’s game there. The head coach also made sure to shoot down the rumor going around that it was a knee injury.
In Krejci’s place on the first line between Milan Lucic and Nathan Horton, Julien said Tyler Seguin will move up to start. Look for Jordan Caron to move in as the right wing on Boston’s third line with Benoit Pouliot and Chris Kelly. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. and the game is televised on VS.

not sure if I’m the first to start this rumor or not. Krejci is on the trading block. Don’t get me wrong I love this guy… but between him Bergeron and Seguin who is the odd man out? and he’s a RFA.
Good test for Seguin tonight, no matter what Cane line he skates against.
i’m excited to see seguin playing with some dudes that can finish for a change. unfortunately these two have been bums to start the year. they also lack speed so we’ll see how this works out.
No offense to Seguin but Lucic and Horton have been sub-par in the defensive zone and I’m not sure adding Seguin will help that any. At the same time, maybe they can get the offense going.
Here’s to a speedy recovery #46. With that said, I’m very excited to see what #19 can do with those two on his wings.
