WILMINGTON, Mass. – Bruins center David Krejci skated on his own prior to Bruins practice today at Ristuccia Arena, according to head coach Claude Julien.
Julien said that Krejci, who was injured in practice before the Bruins’ recent road trip, is doubtful to play in the Bruins’ home game against Carolina Tuesday night but after that he should be classified as day-to-day.
While Krejci didn’t practice with his teammates, two other injured Bruins joined the fray, as Adam McQuaid and Steven Kampfer both took part in the festivities.
McQuaid suffered a neck injury in Raleigh last Wednesday and missed Saturday night’s game in Chicago. He seemed no worse for wear during practice and Julien said the blueliner would be a game-time decision to face the Hurricanes.
Kampfer is still not cleared for contact, but Julien liked what he saw. The defenseman started skating last week while the Bruins were away.
