Caron comes back in time to practice with Boston Bruins
WILMINGTON, Mass. — Jordan Caron’s latest stint with the Providence Bruins (AHL) lasted all of one day, as he returned to the Boston Bruins today for practice at Ristuccia Arena.
The rest of the lines and D pairs stayed the same, with Caron taking his usual spot as the fourth man on the third line alongside David Krejci, Benoit Pouliot and Rich Peverley.
Adam McQuaid, who continues to work his way back from a neck injury, practiced as well.
I’m glad Caron is back. I’ve always liked the look of the kid and I reckon he’s a better bet than Pouliot: not been too impressed with him thus far. Third line should be Caron-Krejci-Peverley, and he’ll learn a lot with two mentors such as those!
I’m with George. A little confidence can go a long way.
Does this mean seguin might not be ready for Thursday? Why else would Caron be brought back so suddenly/unexpectedly?
The benefit of having your minor league team less than an hour away.
Must suck for the Sharks to have their AHL team so far away in Worcester.
Looks like they sent him down just so he got in some playing time, a good move if it is the case.
