There’s no denying that Justin Florek is on a roll.

The fifth-round pick of the Bruins from 2010 helped Northern Michigan reach No. 14 in the national polls with a win and a tie against Michigan by scoring a goal and assisting on three others. For his efforts, he was named the CCHA Offensive Player of the Week.

The senior forward now leads the Wildcats with nine points (five goals) on the season. NMU is 4-1-1.

Here’s a quick look at how some of the Bruins’ other NCAA prospects are faring right now:

•Tommy Cross, D, Boston College
In six games has 0-3-3 totals.

•Zack Trotman, D, Lake Superior State
In six games has 2-3-5 totals.
