BOSTON — Bruins defenseman Dennis Seidenberg and forward Rich Peverley both took maintenance days today while their teammates practiced at TD Garden.

Adam McQuaid left practice briefly after cutting cut on the lip by an errant puck.

The lines stayed the same, with Benoit Pouliot continuing to work his way back to readiness after a brief illness.

After practice, forward Nathan Horton spoke to the media for a little while and talked about “not being myself.” Horton has scored just twice in the Bruins’ 11 games. I’ll have more on that in a story I’m writing for
