Seguin/By S. Bradley

A hat trick goes a long way toward earning a player a grand honor.

Tyler Seguin is no different.

The second-year winger’s three-goal outburst last Saturday in Toronto was part of a four-point week over two games, which earned him the support from readers of this blog as the Bruin of the Week:

Seguin now leads the Bruins with seven goals and 14 points, and he even shares the team lead with Zdeno Chara and Patrice Bergeron with seven. Amazingly, Seguin also leads the team with a plus-10 rating.

There’s no telling what Seguin has in store for the Bruins for the rest of the season. But his emergence as an all-around standout has served the Bruins better than any off-season addition to their roster would’ve.
