Hamill/By S. Bradley
The Bruins tonight announced they have recalled center Zach Hamill on an emergency basis from their Providence (AHL) farm club.
Hamill has 5-5-10 totals and a plus-2 rating in 14 games for the P-Bruins this season.
Daniel Paille is doubtful for Thursday night’s game against Edmonton. Rich Peverley practiced today but it still nursing an injury that forced him to miss Monday night’s game against the Islanders.

Oh I really hope Pevs plays tonight, bit hammill.
Hamill needs to protect the puck opposing players have had a lot of success just pushing him off the puck. I hope a taste of the bigs will give him what he needs.
Imagine your first NHL game was Tampa/Flyers last night. Someone tells you the game is fast and exciting and you watch that fiasco. I like how the fans were booing. Yeah it was your own team that was grinding the game to a stand still.
I’m still in shock over Ped State.
depth is key. good to see the kid finally doing well. maybe he just comes along late. i would love to see him have a great year so we can dish him at the deadline for some top end D talent
Good to see Hamill doing well in Providence. Hopefully, he’s just a late bloomer.
Matt, liked your articles in the Herald today.
Make the best of it Zach!
Respectable numbers for him so far. No offense to Hamill but I hope he doesnt need to be used.
