Ference/By S. Bradley
BOSTON — Bruins head coach Claude Julien declared Andrew Ference out for his team’s game against Buffalo Saturday night.
Ference suffered a lower-body injury against Edmonton Thursday. He did not practice today at the TD Garden.
Rich Peverely, who has missed Boston’s last two games with an undisclosed injury, practiced again today. He also practiced Wednesday and took the morning skate before missing Thursday’s game. Julien said the winger would be re-evaluated Saturday.
When told that if the doctors keep telling him he’s cleared for practices but not games he needs to “grease the right palms,” the normally stoic Peverley actually released a two-beat chuckle.

say a prayer for af’s groin. would rather have it acting up now than in the spring. the man turned the tide against the habs last year. good opportunity for lil stevie.

They’ll be alright–just put Kampfer in. And, at the risk of him giving me the finger, Ference mostly shows up in the playoffs anyways!
Tell me its not his groin again! They really need AF – both for his play and his leadership.
AF has been so good for over a year now. This is a significant hit to the D. Show the depth. Time for the kids to step up
