Tuukka time follow turkey time for Bruins

BOSTON — The Thanksgiving Showdown is not going to be a battle of Tim Thomas against his hometown team.

Tuukka Rask will start in net against Detroit today at the TD Garden, as the Bruins try to extend their 10-game winning streak.

Rask has served as Thomas’ back-up the last three games. He has a three-game winning streak. Jimmy Howard will start for the Red Wings.
