BOSTON — Beating the Jets isn’t just for the Patriots anymore.
The Bruins got in on the act Saturday night with a 4-2 win over Winnipeg behind two goals from center Chris Kelly.
Tim Thomas made 40 saves and Zdeno Chara and Brad Marchand also scored for Boston, which is now 11-0-1 in its last 12 games. Thomas has won eight in a row.

The Bruins will take Sunday off and return to practice Monday in preparation for a home-and-home series with Toronto that starts Wednesday.

I thought JPT did not like the dirty players. Max will not be able to BS his way out of leaping off the ice and landing an elbow to Letang’s head. Too bad he did not line up Cooke.

Paciorety might try that with Ference or Marchand, but he is never going to lineup Horton. He’s to close to him in size; Paciorety likes it only when they are smaller or their back is turned.
Paciorety did target the head, he deserves two games.

JPT, it’s tough to troll during a 11-0-1 streak but you pulled it off nicely. I think Max gets 1-2 games for the hit, intentional or not it’s pretty much breaking the headshot rule to a tee
Pacioretty laid a great hit on Letang yesterday, broke his nose. I think he is getting ready for what he is going to do to Ference, Marchant or Horton.
I wonder if Lucic can lend Pacioretty his BS speech that he told Shanahan to avoid a suspension. But Pacioretty is not a Bruin so I am expecting an undeserved suspension.
Cormac, just to add to your link….Bob Mckenzie was on NHL network more than a week ago saying the Hurricanes were shopping Kaberle and I laughed out loud thinking about how at least the Bruins knew when to walk away. Kaberle was OK in the finals vs the Canucks but his contract is untradeable.

At the beginning of the season, if you bet me that Tyler Seguin and Chris Kelly would be leading the Bruins in scoring, I would be a much poorer man. Kelly is really impressing me lately with his smart plays! He’s making up for our first 2 lines that havn’t done much in a few games. I’m kind of partial to Kelly though as we have the same last name
Nice battle back W. Really liked what we saw from the bottom 6. 4th line didn’t make the score sheet, but they played great. Kelly from Perverly’s great rush on the PK & Kelly from a great Pouliot feed was awesome. Depth night, for sure.
