Brian Ferlin’s first month of NCAA hockey has his collegiate playing career off to a rousing start.
And today the Bruins 2011 fourth-round draft pick received some recognition for his hot play.
Ferlin, a freshman at Cornell, was named the ECAC Hockey/Fischer-Hockey Men’s Rookie of the Month. Ferlin scored five goals and added six assists in eight games. During November he enjoyed a seven-game scoring streak, which included a stretch of seven points in the first three games. He currently leads the ECAC Hockey scoring race with 10 points in six games.
